As many of you will know, Gromit Unleashed is the latest fundraising idea to hit the streets of Bristol. Thousands of summer visitors have whiled away several hours hoping to discover the 80 Gromits on show in the city between July 1st and September 8th this year.
The Gromits have been decorated by talented artists and carefully placed around the city and in some locations which require a journey by car to see them. They are positioned next to many of the city’s historical landmarks, making a trip to see them an adventure into the cultural life of this vibrant town. All the Gromits will be auctioned off by Tim Wonnacott on the 3rd October and the funds raised are going towards the expansion of Bristol Children’s Hospital.
We are delighted to have supplied and installed a CCTV system for two of the Gromit statues currently on display in Bristol’s streets and parks.
This has included the loan of two high resolution day/night CCTV cameras, digital video recorders and colour monitors to provide surveillance of the “Sir Gromit of Bristol” sculpture outside st George’s, Bristol and “Sheepdog” in the Mall Gardens, Clifton.

Good luck to all those doing the Gromit Trail! |
